Dar Al Sorat came to be in response to the unique story of its founder, the late Aida Al Khaled Al Rowas and her husband Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Rowas. They met during Aida’s visit to Oman in 1977 and were married within a year. Their life together was a study in cultural exchange, finding common ground through a deep and considered moral outlook, and their belief that love ultimately motivates the daily choice to trust, respect and support the other. They remained married until she passed away in May 2020. Their union resulted in two daughters, Dr. Sora and Dr. Meda, who currently own and run Dar Al Sorat and share a common vision to continue their distinguished legacy.
