OUR GALLERY

The gallery is situated in Rabiyat Al Qurum and contains unpublished collections to date. The work of Aida Al Khaled Al Rowas continued after the completion of Dar Abdul Aziz Bin Mohamed Al Rowas and her designs are currently copyrighted under Dar Al Sorat LLC in Oman.

She continued to make frames that elaborate on designs from the Dar. She also made furniture for the family home in Muscat with mature designs and motifs. She created handcrafted jewellery boxes for her personal use in the Muscat carpentry to showcase how her patterns and design concept can accommodate a very broad range of functional artworks.

The collection of photographs documenting the making of the Dar in addition to the collection from 1977 has works that are unpublished to date, some of which are already displayed in the gallery. The show room was completed after her passing based on the vision she articulated, of displaying miniature works and prints from the voluminous material she produced in her lifetime.

Her daughters, Dr. Sora Al Rowas and Dr. Meda Al Rowas currently run this gallery and manage the continuation of her life’s work. Visits to the gallery are available by appointment only. Photography during those visits are strictly prohibited. Please contact us for any enquiries.
